SmartPLS closes immediately after start. What can I do?

This could be because you have installed the wrong version of SmartPLS for your operating system.

If you are a Microsoft Windows user, please check if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system and install the matching version of SmartPLS.

How to check if PC is running in 64 bit or 32 bit Windows version

  • Click on the Start button then choose Settings.
  • Click on System.
  • Under System, choose About. You will be able to see the bit-version on the System type field.
