Whats the process for purchasing and receiving a license?

The purchasing process with online payment

The normal process is straight-forward.

  1. You order a license in our online form.
  2. You pay the license online (we offer several payment options depending on your country, usually at least credit card, Paypal)
  3. You receive the license by email
  4. You also receive an invoice, which you can submit to your university for reimbursement.
  5. You download and install the SmartPLS software and activate your license key

In case you cannot pay online

We know that in many cases online payment is not possible, but only bank transfer. This is not a problem. It then goes like this:

  1. You order a license in our online form.
  2. You wait for our invoice (we usually sent it within 1 day)
  3. You (or your university) transfer the money. (may take days or weeks which does not matter)
  4. We book your payment
  5. You receive the license by email
  6. You download and install the SmartPLS software and activate your license key

Additional documents are needed?

Please check our company page which offers documents for download. The typical candidate are:

  • W-8BEN
  • W-8BEN-E
  • bank account confirmation letter
  • tax residency forms

In case you do not receive our information (invoice, license key etc.)

We send all information by email, only. Please always check your SPAM folders. This is were 99% cause of all missed emails can be found.

  • if you paid online, your license is usally sent seconds after your payment is booked
  • if you paid by bank transfer, please take the processing time of banks into account - it may take some days until you receive your license
