The project

This project contains two logistic regression examples for SmartPLS 4.

Example 1

The first example is about customer satisfaction with industrial goods. This project contains the data from the study by Festge and Schwaiger (2007) and includes responses from 281 company representatives from 12 countries. The aim of the study was to develop a new measurement instrument for customer satisfaction consisting of 15 constructs measured by 52 items. Sarstedt et al. (2009) used the dataset in their extension of the original model, in which they employed finite mixture PLS (FIMIX-PLS; Hahn et al., 2002; Sarstedt et al., 2011) to account for unobserved heterogeneity.

Example 2

The second example stems from Hair et al.'s (2018) textbook. The data of this textbook example includes 100 observations.
