Multigroup Analysis in CB-SEM
About the Project
This project provides covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) examples for multigroup analysis (MGA) and moderator analysis in SmartPLS 4. The examples are primarily adapted from widely used textbooks on the CB-SEM method. Note: SmartPLS also supports measurement invariance assessment in CB-SEM.
In the original textbooks, models are estimated using a variety of CB-SEM software applications such as IBM SPSS Amos, LISREL, MPlus, EQS, and R packages like lavaan. To replicate these studies, the SmartPLS examples use the textbook datasets, which can be imported as raw data, covariance matrices, or correlation matrices. These examples show that the CB-SEM implementation in SmartPLS produces results consistent with those reported in the textbooks.
Note: SmartPLS can also directly import models from IBM SPSS Amos.
